Get to know the plants of the world

Your classroom will take a tour through different botanical collections in the Garden in order to explore each group of plants, their habitat, main characteristics and shapes.

Edible and medicinal plants

The class will learn about the active ingredients in some plants that can be used for medicinal or edible purposes, all this through a tour of the botanical collections.

Birds of the Garden

They will be marveled by observing the birds that inhabit the Garden! This activity is carried out with binoculars, through them they will learn about the species that surround them by listening to their main characteristics and importance in the ecosystem.

During this tour the students will learn about the botanical collections that represent the different Mexican ecosystems such as the desert, jungle and tempered forest.
